Youth Entrepreneurs Seminar organized @ MBBS, Sindh University Campus Dadu with the collaboration of Ministry of Sports & Youth Affairs, Govt. of Sindh and SMEDA Sindh on Friday April 17th, 2015. The seminar was attended by Mr. Sleem Siddiqui, Deputy Secretary Ministry of Sports & Youth Affairs, Govt. of Sindh, Mr. Subhan Shareef, Trainer and Motivational speaker, Mr. Syed Babar Umar, Assistant Manager SMEDA Karachi, Mr. Abdul Hafeez Jatoi, Coordinator SMEDA Dadu. Among the Faculty members Sarfraz Ali Malak, Incharge Department of Business Administration, Muhammad Hanif Soomro, Incharge I.T, Muhammad Ashraf Kaloi, Lecturer English, Abdul Manan Arsalan Shaikh Lecturer Business Administration, others visiting faculty and 200 students from Business, I.T & English attended the event. Gifts of Ajrak were presented to the guests.
Mr. Sarfraz Ali, Incharge department of Business Administration welcomed the guests, teachers and students in the event & conveyed the message of Dr. Anwar Ali Shah, PVC Dadu Campus to all participants. Mr. Saleem Siddiqui spoke on the importance of entrepreneurial skills and capacity building in the career development of students. He said by developing and using skills students can start and run their own business and they can be employer rather than employee.
He also appreciated Dr. Anwar Ali Shah, PVC Dadu campus for his cooperation and continuous support in organizing seminars, workshops and conferences. Mr. Syed Babar Umar spoke on the role of SMEDA in strengthening the Small and Medium enterprises. He emphasized on the students self business start-up after completing the degree. The Trainer & Motivational speaker, Mr. Subhan motivated students about how they can start their business practically & how they can be best entrepreneurs. He showed motivational videos to students to encourage them that they should not worry about difficulties but move ahead with firm determination to achieve their goal. He also interacted with students through different activities and questions & answers session. The feedback was received from students through feed- back form. In the end certificates were also given to all the participants.
